2. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not ask for, store, or transmit your actual ballot selections or how you voted. Your quiz answers stay tied to your account and are used only to generate your personalized recommendations.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide personalized voting recommendations.
- To process payments and deliver paid features.
- To improve the Service and fix bugs.
- To communicate with you about your account.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers (hosting, authentication, payments) under contract.

We never share your individual quiz answers or political profile with third parties for advertising.
5. Your Rights
You can view, export, or delete your profile and quiz data at any time from your account settings. To delete your account entirely, email hello@ballotbrief.app. Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, or similar laws.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and store credentials hashed. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
